Fail-unlocked strike (Series 331U, 332®)
Specially designed to lock doors along escape routes. Thanks to the secure release under pre-load, max. 5000 N, this security electric strike is also used in doors without escape route requirements. The model series is guaranteed to work reliably in security gate systems, on soundproof doors and on doors where pressure is expected to act on the electric strike latch due to the structural design.
Important note! The escape door strike is designed as a supplementary locking device for fire doors only and is separate from the main lock. It must not be fitted as a mating component for the main lock under any circumstances, as otherwise correct functioning of the fire door can no longer be guaranteed. The escape door strike and its respective counterpart 80780710 have been tested in accordance with applicable regulations and are approved as suitable for electrical locking systems in doors along escape routes.
